I had a 979 frame leftover from a ebay buy. I had purchased it just for the mint campy grupo on it.
So, the components were stripped off of it and sacrificed for my Casati rebuild project. I took what was left, frame, bottom bracket, seatpost, seat, headset and shift levers and threw a bunch of old Shimano 600 parts that I had hanging around in the junk box and was able to turn it into a rider…
